1945A heavily battered saxophone came in the hands of Chang Lien-Cheng, after a few years of intensive research and hard work Lien-Cheng developed the first saxophone made in Taiwan. The sax was sold to a Filipino musician.
1945The Chang Lien-Cheng Saxophone Factory was founded
1970Lien-Cheng received an award for his work
1977Mr. Chang Wen-Tsan took over the factory from his father - Chang Lien-Cheng.
1986Founder Chang Lien-Cheng passed away.
2000Launch of the "Lien-Cheng" brand in Taiwan
2002Official opening of the Lien-Cheng Saxophone Memorial Hall
2004Cooperation with TOYOTA publicity campaign.
2004Cooperation with the Industrial Technology Research Institute.
2005Former US President Bill Clinton received a LC saxophone during his visit in Taiwan.
